Pediatric radiology is devoted to the care of children, using advanced imaging equipment to assist pediatricians in determining the best way to assess a specific problem while minimizing radiation dose.

Pediatric radiologists are specially trained to understand the unique needs of children, parents, and pediatricians in the diagnostic process, with detailed knowledge of illnesses and medical conditions of infants and children.  We are strong supporters of the national Image Gently campaign to reduce radiation exposure in children. Whenever possible, we utilize non-radiation imaging like ultrasound and MRI. After reviewing the images, we work closely with your child’s doctors to develop a care plan that delivers positive outcomes.
